We help studio owners turn commercial interiors into welcoming spaces for members and practical workplaces for instructors.
Core By Ceri
Our portfolio includes the 140 m² Core By Ceri reformer Pilates studio in Leeds. The finished space combines illuminated arch mirrors, timber-effect flooring and a considered equipment layout. It demonstrates the attention to interior finishes that a studio project needs.

Amilia Studios
Hot Pilates, barre and hot yoga studio · 60 m²
Fortis created a second studio for Amilia Studios, one of Leeds’ largest Pilates operators, transforming a 60 m² high street unit into a welcoming space for hot Pilates, barre and hot yoga.
Infrared lighting throughout, bespoke woodwork and integrated LED lighting bring warmth and character to the interior. The finished studio combines carefully coordinated lighting and joinery with an open space for classes.

From an empty unit to a working studio
The scope can include internal alterations, partitions, joinery, flooring, decoration and changing or washroom areas. We coordinate the trades needed for the agreed building works. Equipment supply and specialist installations are discussed separately when setting the scope.
Plan around the way you teach
Your equipment layout is a useful starting point. Share the number and dimensions of reformers, instructor routes, reception arrangements and storage requirements. These details help shape circulation, room divisions and the position of finishes and fittings.
Reformer, mat and hot Pilates spaces
Reformer studios need a layout that works around the equipment, instructor routes and storage. Mat and hot Pilates spaces need flexible exercise areas and finishes suited to their intended use. For heated studios, we discuss heating, ventilation and electrical requirements with the relevant specialists as part of agreeing the project scope.
Preparing for your opening
Tell us your proposed opening date and any landlord conditions or restrictions on access. We can discuss the sequence of works and identify design decisions that need to be made before the build starts.
Can you refurbish an existing studio?
Yes. Tell us which areas need updating and whether classes will continue during the works. The programme will depend on the scope, access and the need to separate construction from occupied areas.

Discuss your project
Send your property address, photographs, available drawings and preferred timescale. Include an outline budget and any items you intend to supply so we can discuss the scope.
